Christians unite!!

       Is anybody else fed up with the fact that this world keeps shutting Christ out? Seriously people we keep putting Him on a back burner, and acting like He doesn't even exist any more.
         We as Christians act like we have no say so anymore about what happens in this world. His world!! Why? What are we all so afraid of? Are we afraid of standing out and daring to be different? Are we afraid of persecution, or what others might think or do?
         It disgusts me to turn on the news and watch a story about how our local Cadet got in trouble today for posting Galatians 2:20 on their white board. This Cadet was made to erase the bible verse. What ever happened to freedom of religion, or better yet freedom of speech??! The argument to this story was that that one Cadet isn't allowed to persuade others to their religious belief's. You have got to be kidding me right? In return many other Cadets posted bible verses on their white boards as well.
       Wake up America! Wake up world! GOD'S NOT DEAD! HE IS ALIVE! It's time we as Christians and believers of the almighty God take a stance for Him, and stick up for what we believe in! Lets set this world on fire for Him until it burns brightly for HIM, and only HIM!! Christians have values and standards too! Lets let the world see them!

Praying for your significant other


    Hey y'all its K! I just wanted to talk to y'all about Praying for your significant other or future spouse. Prayer is a very deep, and unique way of expressing our needs and wants to the most high and awesome God. It creates a deeper relationship with him.
   I want to encourage you to take the time today to spend time in prayer praying for your boyfriend , girlfriend or spouse. You can even prayer for your future significant other too!

Where to start:

Pray that they love the Lord more than they could ever love you! <3:
-And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength. - Mark 12:30

Pray that they are faithful and obedient to Christ:
-John 15:14 "If you love me, you will keep my commandments."
-2 John 1:6 "This is love that we walk according to his commandments, just as you have heard from the beginning, so that you should walk in it."

Pray that they seek HIM first and put HIM first/pray that God will direct their steps:
- Proverbs 3:5-6 "Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding, in all your ways acknowledge him and he will direct your steps".
-  Jeremiah 29:11 " I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future".


How do you know that someone will be faithful to you? Because they are faithful to the lord first, and they don't stray from him.

Testing your faith part 2!

             The testing of faith can help you bear much fruit, it may even help somebody else in their faith walk! There are many stories which we know from the bible about faith being tested. We even face many times in our own lives when we feel that our faith is being pushed to its limits. The testing of faith can come in many different forms, even many different sizes, but it all depends on how you handle that test that matters.
              Let's look into the stories of many people in the books of the bible whose faith was tested, and what resulted from that testing.
            1.)  First off the story that comes to mind would have to be the story of the Fiery Furnace. This story comes from Daniel 3:1-30. King Nebuchadnezzar casted an image of Gold that he wanted all of his people to bow down and worship, and anybody who refused to worship what he thought was a god, would get thrown into the fiery furnace that they had prepared, to be burned to death in the fire. There was three young men Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, who refused to bow down and worship His idol. So, when the King heard that they had refused to worship, he became enraged with them, and ordered that his soldiers heat the furnace seven times hotter than usual. He also had his strongest soldiers bind the three men together and toss them into the fiery furnace. The three young men told King Nebuchadnezzar that they weren't afraid. They proclaimed that their God would save them from this fire and rescue them from his hand, but even if they weren't delivered from this, then they would never ever serve Nebuchadnezzar's gods.The furnace was so hot that when the soldiers opened the door to throw in Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, they were instantly killed. To King Nebuchadnezzar's amazement, he looked into the fire and saw four men walking around unbound in the flames. One of these men appeared to be the like a son of the gods. The three men came out of the fire, unharmed, not a hair on their heads was singed. The King then saw how mighty Our God is, and so he turned to God, the only true, and one and only God, and had his people serve Him, and Him alone.

              2.)  The second story that instantly comes to mind when thinking of faith being tested would have to be the story of Job. Job was a very prosperous man. He was a very successful farmer, who loved God, his family, health, and many other things. God allowed Satan to take away the many things that Job loved because Satan wanted to prove that Job only loved God because everything in life for him was well, and he was prosperous. Job lost everything, and many people told him to stop serving God, but Job didn't listen to those people, instead he remained faithful, and still praised and worshipped the one true King!!
                These two stories are very different, yet they are also very similar!  They are different, because they are different circumstances, but they both have the same kind of summary, which is keeping your faith in Christ Jesus, even when we seem uncertain at times!
                You see, when our faith is tested it develops a much deeper faith, and power in Christ! Hebrews 11:1 states "Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen".  If you believe that Jesus will move mountains, he will, as he tells us in Matthew 17:20- He replied, "Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you."
                  So, I guess what you could say I am getting at here is that when we go through trials, and faith testers, those help us to produce fruit. Fruit that bears much greater things! These little faith pushers help us to see where our faith is standing at the moment and where it is going. Sometimes we realize through these that we have a much deeper and firmer faith than we realized, it helps us to grow. We must remember too, that God NEVER gives us  more than we can handle. He is our supporter and he is carrying us all through whatever we our facing! Face that situation with God in the drivers seat, and your faith in Him! Who knows, you might inspire somebody to increase their faith level, or to trust The Almighty King that much more! You could help them get through a rough spot that they don't know how to get out of!
                     Let's let our faith shine for the world to see this week! Got faith? If so, how much? Is it enough? I dare you to deepen your faith! Let His light shine!

Taming thy tongue!

   Have you ever said something about somebody or something that you regret saying? I'm positive that we are all guilty here...

   Many people can't resist that juicy gossip that has a tendency to be nothing but lies, and in the end it just ends up hurting. Is there truly a difference between gossiping and simply talking? The answer to that question is yes. Gossiping is spreading false rumors about people, and false things that could hurt somebody, or even damage their reputation. Talking, can be a good thing if it is done to build each other up and not tear each other down (Ephesians 4:29).

    In the bible James warns us over and over that we should tame our tongues, meaning watch what comes out of our mouths, because it has the power to destroy. James tells us that the tongue is like a  very small rudder of a boat that guides the boat to where we want it to go, or like the smallest spark, that sets fire to a forest. You see even though the tongue is just a small thing that we have in our bodies, it has the power to determine who we are, and can even destroy who we are.

James also proceeds to tell us that with the very same tongue we praise our precious and beautiful King with, we also curse and put down others with. He tells us that the tongue is nothing but a deadly poison ready to destroy. .
  But the interesting part to what James has to tell us in James 3 is that there is wisdom that comes with following Christ Jesus our Lord, and with that wisdom we have the ability to tame our tongue! All we need is to ask God to help us to watch what we say, and to know what we are going to say before we say it.

So...I challenge you this week to build others up when speaking and not tear them down. I also challenge you to stay away from gossip, if you find yourself in the gossip situation simply walk away, and say a prayer! Listen to the words of wisdom that James gives us in James 3:5- he says to put fires out instead of starting them. Lets extinguish the gossip fire, and ignite this world on fire for Christ our savior!

Prayer of the week- Dear heavenly Father, help us to tame our tongue, and to only build each other up with what we say. Help us to have wisdom, before we say something, and help us to have good thoughts for each other. Thank you for your guidance with this and your wisdom. God's Plan..

        Boy have I sure learned a lot over the last few months! I feel so deeply and truly blessed beyond my wildest dreams! I have truly come to grasp what it means when somebody says everything happens on God's time, and his plan is so much better than anything we as humans could ever come up with on our own.
       For example, a while back I had to move from Oklahoma to Colorado.. it was a new journey that I wasn't so fond of. I didn't want to leave Oklahoma, and all the many things that I had grown to love there.. like my church family, and friends down there, just life in general, that's really where I started growing my faith in Christ.
        My family and I arrived in Colorado.. I wanted to fight it tooth and nail, I didn't want to come here what so ever. I had all these questions in my head like "why God", "If only we would have stayed there", and so many others. 
       It wasn't until after I gave my King all the questions and fears I had, and gave him the captains seat in my life that I truly started to understand things. He gave me huge blessings, such as precious time with family, some who are now sick, and waiting till they get to see our savior face to face, a new church family, friendships that are dear to my heart, and that wonderful guy that I have been praying for. 
       A few days ago, when I was soaking up my time with Jesus that morning, it all kind of hit me, that "aha" moment that I have been longing for, I could just feel the peace that Jesus had given me, he answered me, suddenly my question of why we moved came to mind, and this is the answer, "look at all the blessings in front of you, look at how far you have come with me"! This is what I felt..(Your plan God is greater than my plans will ever be). Isn't that true?! I mean if it wasn't for Him I don't know where I would be, I don't think I would have got to experience all of these great and beautiful things, if it wasn't for him! I thank him for that, and I also seek his forgiveness for thinking what I had planned for myself would be greater than anything are father and maker has planned for us. How selfish on my part.
        It's been the best journey I have been on so far with my Lord and Savior. God has planted so many people in my life, that have helped to deepen my relationship and love for God, and I am so thankful. So I ask you today, does God have the captains seat in your life, is he the planner of your life, or are you making plans that don't seem to work?! Please just give it a try, and give our God the ropes today! I have faith in you! So does he! :)

God wouldn't have put a dream in your heart if he didn't already have a plan to bring it to pass...

       Dreams... Dreams... Some are small and some are HUGE! Some dreams are very easily reached and some aren't. What are your dreams? Are they big or small? Are they easily reached or do you have to work to reach them?
        To make things easier.. I will start off by telling you some of my dreams!  I dream of getting my masters in Arts of Theology. I dream of spreading the word of Christ to everyone who needs it! I dream of setting the whole entire world on FIRE for Christ! I think my biggest dreams are setting the world on FIRE for Christ I want to marry a famous person! I'm not gonna say who it is.. y'all will just have to keep reading my blog to maybe figure that one out! (haha)!
       I think it's hard for people to chase their dreams in this word anymore. It's such a cold world! Everybody will tell you that you will never reach your dreams, not even taste them, They will tell you it will never happen! Guess what?? I say that's Satan talking! He's just filling you full of lies. Don't even listen to him!
       Instead, I want you to; Stop! Pray! Trust! 1st- Stop! Stop listening to what the cruel and evil filled world says to you about your dreams, and listen to the voice of truth! 2nd- Pray to God, tell him ALL of your hearts desires, no matter how big or small! 3rd- Trust God with all your heart, mind, body, and soul! he knows what he's doing, he also knows your hearts desires. You  only have to put your trust in him and see where he leads you!
       So don't give up on your dreams! When you do that... the only person to blame is yourself! You can do it... just keep pushing forward!! Good luck! Keep your head up!

Beauty! (For ladies)

       Respect... self respect. It seems like nobody these days has any. Especially girls!
       What I am trying to say here (ladies)is that dress modestly. There's a saying "Modest is Hottest," that's so true! Now a days I think it's hard for girls to be modest.  For instance you go to a store and see girls walking around in dresses with there butt cheeks hanging out, or a shirt with so much cleavage what's the point of even wearing the shirt??! Sadly, sometimes both of these things. What message are you sending the world?  I think when we dress like this we are saying " Hey, I'm so and so I don't respect myself enough to cover up, so why should you respect me at all?" Also, what kind of guys does that attract girls? Not the kind you want, right?
       Most guys are visual which means, if you wear things with body parts hanging out, they are most likely to picture you naked, and then that thought never leaves there mind. How does that make you feel? You are just hurting the poor men in our lives by making it hard for them not to sin, from lust.
       So, ladies.. will you decide to keep it covered now? Just imagine how much better our lives would be, and the guys in our lives. We are always complaining that guys are always looking at other girls, well, that's not really there fault if you consider how some of us ladies are dressing! Just think a guys struggles with not looking at a girls body... if someone was to put chocolate in front of you, and tell you not to look at it or even touch it, could you do it. What I am trying to say is girls are like candy to guys, which is like chocolate to us...
